Microblading is an art that creates the perfect eyebrows. It is a semi-permanent makeup procedure which is performed by a trained and licensed practitioner. It is the solution to spares, over plucked and thinning eyebrows. Microblading can cover scars and gaps, create an arch defined shape, and fill in the brows. The artist utilizes a specially designed tool to deposit customized pigment beneath the skin surface. The tool is 3 times thinner than the one used in a machine, allowing for crisp hair strokes. Abru by Arezoo custom blends colors to match natural brow hairs that are unique to you. Eyebrow shape, color and intensity are designed according to facial features and client preference. A topical anesthetic is applied to numb the brow area to minimize any discomfort. The pigment is then deposited by hand which offers a high level of precision and detail. The tool, which looks like a pen, allows the practitioner to create individual strands of hair for a natural look.
Who is a good candidate for microblading? If you are looking to achieve flawless eyebrows without the daily maintenance, microblading is for you. However, in order to achieve quality results and keep clients & practitioners safe there are some exceptions. If any of the following medical conditions apply to you please discuss during your consultation.
. Current Chemotherapy . Heart conditions such as high blood pressure . You take blood thinners or aspirin . You are Pregnant or Nursing Botox or other injections less than 3 weeks before . Any Skin Concerns on or near the eyebrow . Do not use tanning beds 3-4 days prior to the treatment . Do not drink or use drugs before treatment . Not recommend to do during your period
It is very important to discuss any additional conditions or concerns prior to scheduling your microblading procedure
What to expect the day of your appointment? Prior to scheduling your appointment you will have an initial consultation to ensure you are a candidate for microblading. Once approved we will discuss your specific needs and goals to ensure you receive your precise vision. You can expect your initial visit to take approximately 2 hours.
Once your custom color blend is created the eyebrow shape an intensity is measured according to your facial features and preference. Exact measurements are important which is why this is often the most time-consuming part. Next a topical anesthetic is applied to numb the brow area to minimize discomfort. There is no downtime associated with the treatment.
THE PROCEDURE: Microblading is a TWO STEP process. The first step is the initial procedure and the second step is your 4-6 weeks follow up visit! After the procedure, the area treated will be darker and more intense, this is normal. This will last a few days until the skin heals and peels and naturally exfoliates and the true color emerges. FIRST WEEK: In the first week as the scab’s form in order to heal, they may look even darker/thicker due to some swelling. SECOND AND THIRD WEEK: The 2nd and 3rd week you may think they even disappeared altogether (this is due to the new skin forming over the treated area). FOURTH WEEK: Week 4 is where natural exfoliation has happened and the color emerges. Generally, only the client will notice the changes. It will look like you had your eyebrows tinted that day (which looks darker initially). Other people may notice ‘something’ is different, but they are unlikely to identify the source of the difference. The brows may also appear thicker than you might like, however, this settles after 10 days, as swelling recedes and the hair stroke will shorten as a result. Swelling/edema is really very minimal; however, it must be mentioned that some swelling happens.
It's a 2-step process and the 2 visits MUST be completed to achieve the semi-permanent brow. If you do not return for your 2nd visit it is half a job done and a less than satisfactory result obtained, which is a waste of your money. A few days after your procedure you may feel that the strokes are hard to see.
DON'T PANIC! This is a normal healing process and fully expected. After your second visit you will love your new eyebrows and are set for 1-3 years, depending on your skin care & life style.
Eyelash Lift & Tint This procedure lifts your natural lashes at the root and in an upward position, creating the appearance of longer, thicker lashes. To top off the treatment, a black lash tint is applied. This treatment is ideal for those that want a little extra oomph from their lashes, but without all the maintenance of lash extensions, or the daily use of an eyelash curler. Also, it's amazing for those of us with straight and/or unruly lashes!
HOW LONG LASH LIFT & TINT LAST? Lash Lift can define curl & enhance your natural lashes. With a Lash Lift you can have beautiful lifted lashes that open the eye and enhance the length and shape of your lashes for up to 8 weeks.
LASH LIFT & Tint AFTERCARE The great thing about a Lash Lift is that it is a very low maintenance procedure however, there is a little extra care required over the first 24-48hrs.
• Be gentle with your lashes; no rubbing. • Do not get your lashes wet for the first 24 hrs. • Do not use harsh products on your eyes/lashes. • Use of Sauna/Steam is possible after 24hrs but may weaken the effect of the lift. • No eye make up for 24 hours.
Eyelash Extensions
GET THE PERFECT LASHES Eyelash extensions are used to enhance the length, curliness, fullness, and thickness of natural eyelashes.
HOW LONG WILL MY LASHES LAST? On average, clients come in every 2-3 weeks for re lash. Because your natural eyelashes shed daily, the extension attached to it will shed also and as a result you will require refill in order to maintain a full look. Some clients have very thin natural lashes and will prefer to come in sooner to keep a fuller look.
